Welcome to Narcosis Pictures, the photographic art of  Matt Jacobs MSc. FRPS 

Matt is an award winning photographer and film maker who has been around cameras all his life due his father's photographic passion. His images are strong, bold and with an attitude and style that pulls the viewer into the scene. He is influenced more by cinematographers and directors rather than photographers and as such his images have an almost cinematic feel to them.

Matt is an ambassador for Panasonic Lumix and Ikelite Underwater Systems. In 2021 he was made a fellow of the prestigious Royal Photographic Society for his underwater work "The Monochrome Sea". 

The images on this site are just a small sample of Matt’s body of work and are all available for sale in various sizes from 15 cm up to 2.5 metres on various media ranging from crystal archive paper through to acrylic glass and aluminium. Licensing options are also available for web and print.
